Before you can start sending from Sensorpro, you need to do some initial setup. Click the&nbsp;Initial setup&nbsp;menu.

Let's start with the Settings screen.

First, authorize the email address from which you plan to send your first campaign. Enter&nbsp;Display name&nbsp;and&nbsp;Email address. Click the&nbsp;Send Verification Email&nbsp;button. Sensorpro will send an email to that address. In that email, click the&nbsp;Authorize&nbsp;button to authorize that address to send emails.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Next, fill in your company details. In some jurisdictions, you need to display your company details in the footer of the email.

Now add your logo. Drag and drop your logo from Windows Explorer (or Finder if using a Mac) onto the area specified.

The next option on the&nbsp;Initial setup&nbsp;menu is&nbsp;Email Templates. This list will show BigCommerce templates and any custom templates that you have created.

A welcome email is sent to new subscribers automatically. You can set up that email here. Further instructions can be found in the next section of this walkthrough.

New subscribers on your store should get a welcome email.&nbsp; 

Click the Initial setup menu and choose the&nbsp;Setup welcome email option:

1 First, set the from email address &amp; subject line.

2 Then change the email by clicking into it.&nbsp; Your shop logo is used by default but you can change it to something else or change the size.

3 If you know HTML you can click the &lt;&gt; button to do more. But always keep your welcome email simple!

Reviews matter so having an simple way to ask customers for a review is an essential marketing task.&nbsp;

1 From Quickstart, select the&nbsp;Nurture template then click Create a new campaign.&nbsp; ps If you have SMS provisioned for your account, you can ask for reviews by text.

2 In the designer, we are going to leave the main text as is. You can change it if you wish but for this purpose we only want to change the text on the template button &amp; the review link

3 Click into the empty space left of the button to select this section for editing.&nbsp; Then click on the button itself:

4 Now add the link from your review app. In this case we are using a review link from Google reviews. To get your own link, use our free <a href="https://sensorpro.net/reviews">tool</a>.

5&nbsp; Test a draft of this email by sending a copy to yourself with the Test email&nbsp;option. Click Done when you are happy with it.

6 Now create a segment to select the customers you would like to send a review request.&nbsp; Use the Date related option to select orders in the last 7 days or manually enter emails using the seed list option:

7 The segment will build automatically. PS manually add others from your list using the view icon.

8 Now we are ready to send! Click the orange Step 3, Broadcast email. Then click the green Add New Broadcast button &amp; specify the email design &amp; segment.&nbsp;

9 Before sending, we'd like to see how it will look for the customer. Prepare a sample as shown below then click the view icon to make sure your review link is working as expected.

10 Click the green Send icon to send the email !

RFM is a scoring tool to distinguish between customers likely to buy &amp; customers that may be at risk. We will use RFM to send campaigns to each category.  Your shopify data is already loaded once installed &amp; everything should be ready to go. We will look at how you can tweak setting later.

The RFM score has three parts. Recency, how recently did the customer buy something from your site? ? Frequency, how often do they buy from your site? And Monetary, how much do they spend?

Each part has a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest &amp; 5 the highest score. The lowest RFM score is 111 with 555 being the highest. Sensorpro tunes the scale to match your definition of how recent, how frequent or how much. Typical segments would include New customers, Loyal customers &amp; At risk customers.

1 Select the Flows menu in Sensorpro &amp; select RFM dashboard option.

2 You should see a screen that looks like this:&nbsp;&nbsp;

Using this dashboard we can adjust the RFM scores &amp; send one of 3 campaigns: Reward, Nurture or Win-back. We can adjust the RFM score, too.

Example to select recent moderate spenders:

We could use 5*3 which is a Recency score of 5, A Frequency score of anything and a moderate Monetary value of 3.

Select one of the campaigns &amp; design your email.

Remember our test email step? A Campaign has an email template, a list of subscribers (we call this a segment) &amp; broadcasts. With RFM the segment is already made for you. After you finish designing the email, you will see the 3 steps:

To send this email,  click Step 3: Broadcast &amp; then the green button:&nbsp;&nbsp;

Sensorpro can send a campaign to your abandon carts.

Select the Flows menu in Sensorpro &amp; select Abandon cart flow.

You should see a screen that looks like this:&nbsp;&nbsp;

Click the green design icon to open the the email designer.

The button to revisit the cart contains a special code. If you somehow blank this out, you can copy it here:&nbsp;&nbsp;

Placing this anywhere in the design is OK. When we send the email, Sensorpro will use this to find the abandon cart of the subscriber.

Continue to design the email &amp; click Done when completed. Don't forget to send a test email to yourself first, we covered this Step 2.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Remember our test email step? A Campaign has an email template, a list of subscribers (we call this a segment) &amp; broadcasts. With Abandon cart campaign the segment is already made for you. After you finish designing the email, you will see the 3 steps:

To send this email,  click the Step 3: Broadcast Email screen. We have created a broadcast for you.

In the options column, click this icon to activate the broadcast:

The "Schedule recurring broadcast" screen will open.

Tick the "Enabled" checkbox to enable it.

Set "Execute broadcast every:" to "Day", and set the date and time you want this to run. The abandon cart campaign will run at this time every day. The date will update automatically each time this campaign runs.

Click OK. Back on the broadcast list, the broadcast is now active. The date and time you specified is the first time that it will run.

If you need to stop it or change it, click the green icon and change the settings.
