Adding a survey confirmation page to Sensorpro

Add a confirmation page into your survey flow.

The survey respondent can review their answers before submitting their response. The data available to show is as follows:&nbsp;

The data is automatically rendered on a page by page basis using a merge tag. This merge tag pulls all the question and form data for one page and inserts at a specific point in the survey page.

The confirmation page is created as a standard survey page, and is usually inserted into the survey page flow as the last page and contains the finish button. There is no limit to how many confirmation pages you can have. For example, if you require a confirmation page per survey page, you would just insert it into the survey flow at the appropriate points in the survey page flow.

A merge tag is used to output the summary. 

getpagesummary(page sequence)&nbsp;pulls the survey response data for the specified page. The example below gets the summary data for page sequence 1.

In our sample survey below our survey has two pages: Start &amp; Terms and the third page is the confirmation page. The "Seq" number is the value uses in the above merge tag to get the summary data for that page.

The merge tag will pull the survey response data for that page and format as follows:

Consideration should be given to how you break the survey up into multiple pages. As the confirmations are rendered a page at a time using the merge tag getpagesummary,&nbsp;you can insert headings for each page. This will give you more flexibility on how you display the data.

In order to allow the respondent to change their response you should enable previous buttons. This will automatically add a previous button the the survey page to allow the respondent to navigate back through their survey response and make changes.&nbsp;

To enable previous buttons, go to survey properties as shown below.

If your survey contains form data, this is separate to the question/answer format. The descriptions used on the summary report is configurable.&nbsp;

These descriptions can be changed by selecting Survey properties | Rename form fields.

This is split into two - the predefined survey fields are at the top and the the custom fields are at the bottom.&nbsp;
